Hot Coffee

 Hot Coffee Mission Statement:

Hot Coffee is a locally based initiative assisting the families of fire fighters suffering through the hardships of a child’s illness. 

It is our intention to show support financially when unsung heroes have to abandon what they consider a normal life, of helping others whom they rarely ever know, to care for the most important patients of all; their very own children.

In the fall of 2007 a local firefighter and friend experienced what most parents would consider a nightmare, a critically ill baby. We decided to try and help the only way we knew how. We attempted to raise money through several avenues, some more successful than others.  In our endeavors to help, we realized how much we loved being involved in this cause. Our friend is not alone; several firefighters throughout the state have gone through similar crises. These men and women are called upon, in the middle of the night, in the worst of weather conditions, and in life threatening situations, to help our family....our friends...our neighbors.

Who We Are

Let's introduce ourselves:

Hello, We are the McKay's, Tanya and Jeremy to be less formal. 

We are the proud parents of two beautiful children. Jeremy is a firefighter with Clay County and I am currently staying at home with my little ones.

We both love a cup of coffee in the morning; that's what we need to get through our day. Now, HOT COFFEE can help fire fighters get through some of their worst days too!
